English and Computing students at The College Merthyr Tydfil have been very fortunate to be picked to participate in the Merthyr Tydfil Literature Festival taking place on 25th and 26th October 2013. As part of the festival, computing students will be responsible for setting up the presentation facilities for famous authors and poets. English students will be supporting and participating in storytelling sessions, including working with the authors to maximise the impact of the story for relevant audiences. The link up with Stephens and George Charitable Trust is an excellent achievement for the college, opening up the doors for the college to work more closely with the Stephen and George Printing Company to provide work experience opportunities for students.
