We are really proud of her. Jess has thrived on the BTEC Outdoor Adventure course at the college. Her Tutors Gavin and Craig have delivered an exceptional level of teaching and support, and created a learning environment that has encouraged leadership, team spirit, discipline and thinking outside the box. Year 1 has been a real adventure. Through a good balance of physical and academic challenges, Jess has gained new skills, strengths and a confidence in herself. She is really looking forward to Year 2. The staff and students of the Sports Department have won an incredible number of National Awards and Honours this year. It was a privilege to attend the Celebration Evening to see the level of commitment and talent among the students, and to thank the staff for the great job they are doing."
Mel Davies, Challenger Sports, commented "What a great evening it was and I and Challenger Sports were privileged to be part of it.The relationship between the college and Challenger is second to none and a lot of that is down to the staff and all the hard work they do for us promoting Challenger Sports and the wonderful opportunities it brings."
